From Classic to Digital


As we become more encapsulated with the Digital age, K & M Camera reaffirms its commitment to the classics, while rapidly expanding our inventory and stock-selection to include the latest in digital photography. This translates into dozens of new digital items added weekly, as technology improves the ability to capture, modify, and print the digital image. We offer a huge selection of digital equipment and print storage/media from all of the major manufacturers including Canon, Epson, Nikon and Olympus.


Students to Professionals


Located in the heart of New York City, within walking distance of the famous School of Visual Arts and New York University, K & M Camera is very familiar with the needs of students. We regularly maintain a full selection of course requirements from beginning processing equipment to required texts. Many of these items are occasionally offered at special low student-prices.


Inventory of Mural Proportions


At K & M Camera, we pride ourselves on one of the largest inventories of color and black & white photographic enlarging paper all major and some not-so-major manufacturers like Agfa, Forte, Ilford and Kodak. We regularly stock sizes from postcard through mural size rolls up to 100 feet. Did you know that K & M Camera is the original importer of Forte brand paper? We also carry imported fine-art paper from Bergger, and the recently re-domestically available line of Oriental papers. Our vast experience in the industry has also encouraged us to produce our own brand of quality black & white photo enlarging paper at prices that rival the competitor brands by up to 40%.


Vintage/Used Equipment and Equipment Repair


Whether you're a hobbyist or professional we have used equipment that will fit your need and budget. We stock vintage Rollieflexes and Nikons to barely used Hasselblads and Canons. We buy used equipment as well as take cameras in on trade.


We also service cameras and other equipment, from general cleaning and maintenance to extensive repair work.
